APW - Hamilton, Grade 923, 23J, 12S, platinum OF original Hamilton case with unusual stepped band, silvered dial with applied white gold Runic style "Richard Ginn" marking in place of numerals, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, jeweled barrel arbor, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene, s#R2558. Gross weight of assembled watch 40.4 dwt (62.8 g). Comes with an associated Hamilton marked box. From the Estate of Michael "Skip" Marrone.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, virtually mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few negligible minuscule specks of oxide to winding wheels; nearly flawless dial has some edge rub under bezel; excellent hands, hour is bent very slightly upward; case shows light wear, many scattered small sharp dings to rear and few to bezel; bow pivots freely, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal with scattered very fine scratches; box in fine cosmetic condition, tear to silk Hamilton ribbon within, tear to leather on bottom.
